We rented the Mountain View Retreat for three weeks. The location is rural near Lenox Center and Tanglewood   The house is correctly named as the views from the front porch and back deck are spectacular. We spent relaxing breakfasts  and dinners on the deck  in this pleasant setting. The kitchen  was a great space with a large island. Ample cooking utensils. We enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi.. The house in the Berkshires was wonderful. The location and the view were our favorite features! The house was very clean when we arrived. Working with Evergreen Home Vacations was great. We stayed several nights in the newly renovated cottage and highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.  Everything you need for a comfortable visit has been provided and the space is well designed and immaculately kept. The location is private and quiet, but super convenient to Great Barrington's amenities.  (If you love steak,  do try the restaurant "No. 10" on Castle Street. Great food and service). We just spent 6 weeks at the Ashley Falls cottage in addition to being there last summer. The house is kept immaculate and the upgrades over the last year included new countertops and flooring. The house is very convenient to everything the Berkshires has to offer like Tanglewood, Shakespeare theater, Norfolk music festival and several area golf courses. Shana is the ideal host and gets back to you with any issues and resolves them. We look forward to visiting again next year.
